Our interpretation of the most original wine of the Rioja Alavesa seeks to combine modern wine making techniques by gravity with the traditional methods of our ancestors.
Young red wine made by whole cluster fermentation of the variety Tempranillo, grown exclusively in the Rioja Alavesa.
Before being fermented in stainless steel tanks, the whole clusters macerate for a long time at cold temperatures. Short intracellular fermentations in combination with the traditional stomping of the grapes. The wine is bottled and released in spring after the harvest.

Vineyards
Several plots situated in the villages Samaniego, Laguardia und Leza, Rioja Alavesa, with its typical calcareous clay soils. Average altitude: 600 meter. Vine training system: mainly Gobelet (bush vine system). Sustainable viticulture with 100% handcraft.

Tasting note
Expressive aroma of black currants and blackberry. Smooth and long on the palate, highlighting hints of licorice and spices. Attractive astringency.
